I am a Bioinformatician and Data Scientist. After obtaining a PhD in Computational Biology, I joined the Korcsmaros lab as a Research Associate. My main interest lies in utilising machine learning to analyse molecular biology data and clinical data to advance our understanding of biological mechanisms. I am currently developing computational approaches for precision medicine in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and am leading a collaborative project with Roche. This project primarily investigates how single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) affect the effectiveness of drug treatments for ulcerative colitis.
